NBA Player Prop Pick for Thursday: Coffey Talk
I was done for the day with writing articles. I shut my computer down and started thinking about what I was going to eat. Then it hit me. Did I just see that the books disrespect Amir Coffey and not do anything about it? Turns out that's exactly what happened. I can't believe I almost let it slide but the important part is that I corrected my mistake. Here I am right now making things right. Just an amazing show of character by me. Unreal really.

Amir Coffey 15+ Points @ +148 (Bet $100 to win $148)
Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing
This one is at FanDuel but if you want to go the safe route, you can go 12.5 for -110. That's available at DraftKings and BetMGM so there's that. If you want 12.5 at FanDuel, it's -112 so that's not much worse. Still, I think throwing down on a plus money move is the way to go here.
This guy has nothing to lose. He literally shouldn't even be getting time on this team but injuries opened the door and he took advantage. I love when guys do that. Even with the injuries, his minutes haven't always been steady but he's played at least 30 minutes in 10 of his last 13 contests. Good enough for me.
Minutes are important because you can't score if you're sitting on the bench. That's just science. Coffey isn't just running around out there when he gets these minutes though, he's scoring. In fact, he's gone 15+ in four of his last five games. No matter who is on the floor with him, he's still taking shots. Kid has spunk.
We need something to bet in the late slot tonight and since this one is on TNT, it's perfect. We should see an up and down game from these two teams tonight which helps our cause even more. This might be the most undercover sweet spot I've seen in a while and some people are saying they'd go 20+ for +600 on Coffey. What a world.
