1u - Anthony Edwards Leading Scorer (-130) Bet $130 to collect $230. DraftKings has the best odds, click here
This bet was the first one that stood out to me today. Anthony Edwards is going to play mad. Edwards was snubbed from the West team while averaging 25-6-5 a night. Edwards has been on fire lately scoring 25+ in seven straight games. In this seven-game stretch, he is averaging 33 points per game.
The 21-year-old gets a matchup against Orlando who he played once this year and scored 35 points. He already demolished this team once and now he plays them again while he’s red hot and has something to prove. Will the All-Star snub? Oh yeah, count me in. Orlando’s top projected points player is Paolo with 20.5 and Edwards is 27.5. We have a 7-point projected edge.
The Magic have so many guys who can score, so I think Edwards could fail to hit 28 points where his prop needs him to be, but still be the leading scorer. In the last 26 games we have seen Orlando's leading scorer score 27 or less in 20/26 games. The only threat on his team would be Russell who has been scoring more lately, but Edwards is still the team's alpha. If you don't have this market, I would take his regular points prop for half a unit but I see so much value in this market with a 7-point projected edge. Let's roll!
