Warriors vs. Rockets Same-Game Parlay: Can Warriors Upset Dillon Brooks, Surging Rockets in Game 7?
Almost a decade after the famous 3-1 blown lead in the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors are in danger of repeating history tonight against the Houston Rockets. They fell flat in Games 5 and 6, and are now forced to head on the road for Game 7. Can they shut down Dillon Brooks and Fred VanVleet tonight? Jason Radowitz analyzes this showdown and explains his Warriors vs. Rockets same-game parlay for Sunday's Game 7.

5 minWarriors vs. Rockets Same-Game Parlay: Can Warriors Upset Dillon Brooks, Surging Rockets in Game 7?
The Golden State Warriors went up 3-1 in the first round of this series, and it seemed like they had this series in the bag. However, the Houston Rockets responded with two consecutive wins, and they now have home-court advantage in their first-round matchup against the Warriors.
Houston has used a 2-3 zone defense with Steven Adams and Alperen Sengun, which has left the Warriors speechless. In addition, Adams scored 17 points and went 9-of-16 from the foul line after playing 31 minutes in Game 6. He's been the Rockets' X-factor in their last two games.
Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet has been struggling to begin the series from the field. However, he's added 26.7 points per game over the last three games, including 29 points in Game 6. He's regained his confidence, which has helped him add more rebounds and assists to help the Rockets as well.
On the other hand, the Warriors will need to make many adjustments. Yet again, in Game 6, Steve Kerr sat his talented forward, Jonathan Kuminga, and played literally everyone else on the bench. Kuminga is an option to earn some minutes in Game 7. Yet, it's unlikely he'll be a major factor, even if he does play.
Golden State has been here before. The Rockets haven't been. Does that mean the Warriors will have an answer in Game 7 and reach the second round of the playoffs as a No. 7 seed?
Here's my same-game parlay for tonight's Game 7 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets.

Warriors vs. Rockets Game 7 Same-Game Parlay
Leg 1: Warriors +2.5 (-112)
The Rockets have done a few things that have puzzled the Warriors, but I think the Warriors can make adjustments and counter in Game 7.
For one, Golden State needs more size to compete. The Warriors have Jonathan Kuminga. Maybe they're not fond of his work ethic or attitude, but he'll give the Warriors more size. The Warriors desperately need that.
In addition, Kevon Looney will likely play more for the Warriors. Golden State will win this game if it goes big and keeps the Rockets' offensive rebounding down.
Plus, while Stephen Curry hasn't had the best playoffs, he scored 29 points in Game 6 and is still facing a Rockets team that ranks dead last in the NBA in points allowed to point guards. These are the games that Curry lives for. He dominates in them. He, along with Draymond Green and Kevon Looney, has all the experience in these big playoff games.
That's why I'll give the advantage to the Warriors, even on the road.
Leg 2: Fred VanVleet Under 3.5 Threes (-182)
Fred VanVleet has been sensational for the Rockets over the last three games. He's nailed at least four threes in three consecutive games. However, he's only hit at least four threes in three of his last ten. He missed this line in his previous seven before he hit four or more threes in three consecutive games.
The Warriors have to find a way to contain VanVleet, and I think they will. After all, Golden State ranks No. 1 in the NBA in points allowed to point guards this season. They've also held point guards to the seventh-lowest three-point field goal percentage this season. The Warriors will find some answers tonight.
Leg 3: Dillon Brooks Under 2.5 Rebounds (-104)
In the last two games, Dillon Brooks has combined for just two rebounds. He's played nearly 60 minutes in those two games, but has earned just eight rebound chances in those 60 minutes. He came away with only two rebounds with those eight rebound chances, too.
The Warriors rank 7th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to small forwards. They've even been better on the defensive glass, holding small forwards to the 5th-lowest rebound rate in the NBA.
Brooks is typically good for 3 or 4 rebounds a game. But lately, against the Warriors, he hasn't even gotten many opportunities. We're taking his under to close out this parlay.
