Nebraska vs. Colorado Prediction

The Cornhusker lost a hard-fought game on the road versus Minnesota in week one. The Golden Gophers nailed a field goal as the clock ran out to beat Nebraska 13-10.

The defense was the strength of the Cornhuskers in week one. This is a defense that possesses multiple veterans and playmakers. Cornerbacks Omar Brown and DeShon Singleton led the team in tackles with seven.

Georgia Tech transfer Jeff Simms will be the man responsible for leading the Cornhuskers offense this season. Simms was the team's leading rusher in week one, as he picked up 91 yards on 19 carries in Week 1.

Running back Gabe Ervin Jr. was impressive in the loss as he rushed for 55 yards on seven carries (an average of 7.9 yards per carry).

Sophomore Wide Receiver Alex Bullock led the team in receiving with 56 yards while catching the sole touchdown for the team.

Head Coach Matt Rhule remains optimistic with what he saw in Week 1. Rhule has enjoyed loads of success at the college level, and the program believes he is the guy that will make Nebraska relevant once again.

Colorado stole the show in Week 1. The Buffaloes stunned TCU on the road, knocking off the Horned Frogs 45-42. The Buffaloes were 20.5-point underdogs in Week 1.

The win caught the attention of the entire nation, moving Colorado into the top 25 rankings as they enter play ranked 22nd in the nation.

Quarterback Shadeur Sanders was stuntin' like his daddy in Week 1. Sanders won Player of the Week as he put up video game-like numbers. Sanders threw for 510 yards and four touchdowns.

Travis Hunter showed the nation how lethal of a player he is. Hunter starts for the Buffaloes at Wide Receiver and Cornerback, playing both positions very well. Hunter led the team in receptions with 11 while racking up 119 yards. Additionally, Hunter had an interception in the end zone, which helped the Buffaloes seal the win.

Freshman running back Dylan Edwards led the Buffaloes in receiving overall. Edwards had five catches for 135 yards and three touchdowns.

Head Coach Deion Sanders has been vocal in the media all week long, calling out doubters after the big win. Sanders believes that this team is good enough to win the Conference and compete for the playoffs.

Nebraska vs. Colorado Pick

This line opened -8 in favor of Nebraska and is now -3 in favor of the Buffaloes.

I do not recall a time that I have seen a line move so much, and the main reason that this line is moving is due to all the love Colorado is getting after their Week 1 win.

89% of the bets are currently on the Buffaloes money line, while 91% of the bets are on Colorado -3.

Nebraska matches up well, as they have a legitimate defense that will make things tough on Colorado. The game style that Nebraska plays on both sides of the ball will be too much for Colorado in this spot.
