Lions vs. Packers Prediction
To put it simply, Green Bay is in disarray. The Packers fell to the Buffalo Bills 27-17 on Sunday, losing their fourth straight game. Going down 14-0 early, the Packers were forced to play catchup which they have been unable to do for years. The Packers have not lost four straight games since 2016, with this season being their worst start since 2006.
The Miami Dolphins defeated the Lions 31-27 on Sunday in a game that the Lions twice led by 14 points in the first half. Detroit, a 3.5-point underdog, enabled Miami to go 8-of-12 on third down conversions, which in large part led to their fifth straight defeat.
Let's take a closer look at who might contribute to getting both teams back on track on Sunday's Week 9 NFC North battle in Detroit.

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers Best Anytime TD Picks
Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Josh Reynolds (+200) (Bet $100 to Collect $300) Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings
With eight different players having scored a touchdown and five of them having at least two, the Lions' offense isn’t what has held this team back. In fact, their passing attack ranks #7 in the NFL, with the unit as a whole putting up 24.7 points per game.
With their leading pass catcher TJ Hockenson now gone (traded to the Vikings), that production needs replaced which is where I think we see Reynolds step in over the next few weeks. With 13.7 yards per catch to start this season, his touchdowns lag behind with just two on the year. Now that a huge red zone threat in Hockenson is gone, expect Reynolds to get even more looks.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer - De’Andre Swift (+100) (Bet $100 to Collect $200) Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings
After missing three games due to an ankle injury, Swift returned to the lineup last week albeit in a limited capacity. Even still, on just five attempts (and five receptions), Swift found pay dirt and is now averaging a touchdown in 50% of his games this season.
He’ll also now draw a Packers defense that has struggled mightily against the run. Coming into this game, the Packers are allowing on average 141.3 yards per game from opposing rushing attacks.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Aaron Jones (+100) (Bet $100 to Collect $200) Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings
Speaking of struggling mightily, the Lions' defense has turned into the worst in the NFL. Coming into this week, the Lions rank dead last in points allowed (32.1) and total yards allowed (421.3), and might be just the medicine this Packers’ offense needs.
While there hasn’t been much to be optimistic about with this Packers offense, running back Aaron Jones has led the way with four total touchdowns on the season, including three through the air. I like him to pick up his fifth in this spot.
