The Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots will clash from Foxboro on Thursday night for a highly anticipated AFC East affair. This is a very meaningful game for both of these teams as we kick off the month of December. Once the NFL season hits December, things get real for these teams. These games mean a little more than they did a month or two ago, and the players are always more locked in. Add in that it is a divisional game tonight as well.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Prediction
The Bills enter play representing a record of 8-3 on the season. Buffalo is regarded by many to be the best team in football, led by star quarterback Josh Allen. Allen has been tough on himself for his play as of late. He has had issues turning the football over and has not looked like his normal self at times. Despite his recent struggles, he remains one of the favorites to win the MVP award this season.
If Buffalo can win tonight, they will jump back into first place over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East.
The Patriots have turned in a solid season in their own right. New England enters play to the tune of a 6-5 record, and they are right on the edge of the playoff picture. They are a game back from the playoffs, and if they can get a big home win tonight, they will like their chances moving forward. On the other side of things, if they can not pull off a home win tonight, the mountain becomes more difficult to climb. New England has been led by Mac Jones for the majority of the season, who is coming off of one of his best performances on Thanksgiving night. New England comes into this game as a 3.5-point home underdog.
I am all over the Bills tonight. It is rare I bet with the public, especially on a heavy play, but I see no real reason to back the Patriots. I understand some people may think this line is shady, but I do not think it is that far off. The Patriots are a team that is north of .500, and they are playing a divisional home game. The issue I do have with New England is whether they can keep pace with the Bills. I have not been impressed by the Patriots when they have faced tough opponents. They are 0-3 facing teams above .500 this year, not named the Jets. The Jets are the only team that the Patriots have beaten this season with a record above .500. No offense to the Jets fans out there, but that is not saying much. New England cannot keep pace with Josh Allen and company tonight. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
