Jets vs. Jaguars Same-Game Parlay
The Jags have all of a sudden strung together wins in three of their last four games, and they are now the favorite to win the AFC South, being priced as high as -160. They hold the tiebreaker over the Tennessee Titans, and with a win tonight, they would jump into the number one spot. They are led by second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence and head coach Doug Pederson in his first year as head coach of the Jaguars. Pederson is used to success as he won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. He has done an outstanding job with this Jacksonville team, which was the worst team in football one season ago.
The Jets sit at 7-7, and they are battling hard for that final Wild Card spot. With a loss tonight, they are basically out of the playoffs. They need to win this game, and the pressure falls on former number two overall pick Zach Wilson who will get the call tonight. Wilson has been inconsistent this year and lost his job to Mike White. White has been out the last two weeks with an injury that forced the hand of Wilson. I decided what we need for tonight is a same-game parlay. We were one leg from smacking a +1900 last week, and we have been very profitable on these this year so let’s get into it!
The first leg I am taking will be the New York Jets on the moneyline. This is a Jets line all the way. The Jets looked great last week on defense until that final play, but I think they will control this game and lead us to a win tonight. The second leg I am taking will be Evan Engram under 40.5 receiving yards. This number is inflated due to a couple of his past performances, but this feels like a great regression spot for Engram against a great Jets defense. The third and final leg will be Travis Etienne, anytime touchdown. He has struggled to find the end zone as of late, yet he is the favorite to get in this game. I see a lot of running from the Jags tonight, and at some point, he will find the end zone. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
