Tennessee Titans vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
The Dallas Cowboys vs. the Tennessee Titans will clash from Music City for a Thursday Night matchup. Now I am going to start with this. We have seen a lot of bad Thursday Night matchups, but this may take the cake. The reason for that is half of the Tennessee Titans team is out.
Tennessee will be without their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and star running back Derrick Henry. The Titans will also be without multiple starters on defense, including linebacker Bud Dupree. The Titans also happen to be the coldest team in football. The Titans have not won a game since November 17th. Since then, they have lost five games in a row, including last week at home to the worst team in football, the Houston Texans.
Dallas comes into this game fresh off their biggest win of the season. They beat Philly to keep their hopes alive of winning the NFC East. Dallas would need to win out, and they would need the Eagles to lose their last two games. Dallas has been led by one of the best defenses in football despite struggling the last couple of weeks. The Cowboys come into tonight’s game as a 13.5-point favorite.
This game is actually so bad on paper that I think we need a same-game parlay to make it fun, so let’s cook it up. The first leg I am taking will be the Cowboys -6,5. I actually think that this game may be closer than expected, but if the Cowboys can not win this game by a touchdown, that would be rather embarrassing. The second leg will be Dalton Schultz any time touchdown. Schultz is one of the best tight ends in football, and I think he gets a couple of red zone opportunities tonight. The third and final leg will be Austin Hooper over 14.5 rec yards. Typically tight ends are security blankets for backup quarterbacks, and I think we see a lot of checking down today.
