Buccaneers vs. Cowboys Same-Game Parlay
Buccaneers +2.5
Tom Brady and the Bucs finished the season 8-9, yet they find themselves hosting a playoff game against the 12-5 Cowboys. Despite the massive difference in record, the Buccaneers are just short 2.5-point underdogs. This is a classic Tom Brady spot in my eyes. Everyone has been calling him washed up all season, and to be fair, the Bucs did finish below .500, but there is a difference between regular season Tom Brady and postseason Tom Brady. Brady is 35-12 (74%) in the playoffs, and his experience is why the line is so low in this game, despite the record difference.

The most significant key in this game is the health of the Bucs' offensive line. Donavan Smith, Tristan Wirfs, and Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen will all be playing on the offensive line for the first time this season. Jensen will make his season debut, while Wirfs and Smith have dealt with injuries on and off. The Bucs' offensive line was already pretty good this season, despite the injuries, ranking first overall in sacks allowed in the league, but with Jensen, Wirfs, and Smith all playing, the offensive line should give Brady all the protection he needs tonight.
This is a massive edge because one of the main attributes of the Cowboys is their elite defensive line. If the line can't bring pressure and sack Brady tonight, it's a wrap for the Cowboys season. Their secondary has been porous, and Anthony Brown being out doesn't help their case. If you give Brady time, he will burn you. He has a 100.2 passer rating in a clean pocket and just a 44 rating under pressure. Brady was only sacked twice in the Week 1 meeting against the Cowboys, and with Jensen back at center, Brady could air it out in a clean pocket all night.
It's hard to bet against Brady, especially in the playoffs. The Cowboys have been the better team "on paper" this season, but they have played a much easier schedule, and they have been regressing in the later part of the season. Plus, Dak can't seem to figure out his turnover issue. I'm on the Bucs.
Leg Two: Brady 250+ Alt Passing Yards
This goes hand-in-hand with what I just touched on in the previous leg of the parlay. If Brady has a clean pocket, it's game over. He also has a healthy Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. The only reason Brady didn't break 250 in Week 1 against the Cowboys is that the Dallas offense played so badly, the Bucs were able to play highly conservative and still win by 16. The Cowboys should at least score more than three points in this game, meaning Brady will continue to air it out. He had 379 yards in the meeting last season.
Leg Three: Leonard Fournette Anytime TD
Leg Four: Leonard Fournette 50+ Alt Rushing Yards
Two words: playoff Lenny. Leonard Fournette has earned his notorious nickname based on his clutch rushing in playoff games. It's not even that he has necessarily lit up the box score, but he is consistent at coming up clutch on big downs. If it's 3rd and 3 and they hand it off to Fournette in the playoffs, it seems like he gets three or more every time.

In eight career playoff games, Fournette has only passed 100 rushing yards one time, but at the same time, he has not gone UNDER 50 rushing yards in one single game. Yes, the Bucs are not a run-heavy team, but in the playoffs, you have to have a back you can rely on, and playoff Lenny is that guy. Fournette has averaged four yards per carry across the regular season in his career, and he has averaged 4.03 yards per carry across the postseason in his career. Sure, that's not really a difference, but when you consider how much better teams are in the playoffs than in the regular season, it is impressive his average actually very slightly goes up.
Fournette has also been a scoring machine in the playoffs. He has ten career playoff touchdowns in eight games. He has scored at least once in seven-straight playoff games, only missing the end zone in his rookie season in his first playoff game. Fournette has not scored a touchdown in six weeks now, but I think that means this is a perfect spot to back him in week one of the playoffs. It's playoff Lenny time.
