Mr. Irrelevant (Brock Purdy) and the 49ers host the divisional round matchup against the Cowboys in a matchup between timeless playoff foes. The Niners are expected to go to the NFC Championship and play the Eagles, as they are 3.5-point favorites to win tonight. I don't have a strong pick as far as the side goes, but there is a prop I absolutely love tonight.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
There are many stars on the field tonight on both sides. Many people are looking at Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliott, and Tony Pollard. That's quite the list of names, and it is no question why they have drawn the majority of bets tonight, but there's a standout I feel is underrated in this matchup: T.Y. Hilton.

If you are looking at the biggest deep threat on the Cowboys tonight, it's not CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown, or Michael Gallup; it's T.Y. Hilton. Although he is 33 years old, that veteran presence in the receiving core is exactly what the Cowboys need if they are going to make a run in the Super Bowl. After 10 seasons with the Colts, Hilton joined the Cowboys midway through the season and he played in the final three games of the season. Hilton had 52 yards on his first catch as a Cowboy, and he has 144 yards in his four games as a Cowboy. While his usage is not like CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, he has slowly seen an increase in his usage at the expense of Noah Brown.
In Hilton's seven receptions as a Cowboy, he has a 28-yard and 52-yard catch, which is right on par with where he fits in on the offense. Hilton has been a deep threat his entire career, and he is capable of big plays at any time. Hilton's average on the Cowboys is 17.3 yards per reception, which leads the team by a long shot. Noah Brown is second with 12.9 yards per reception, and as previously mentioned, Hilton has taken the long routes from Brown recently.
Hilton had two receptions for 23 yards in the Wild Card round against the Bucs, but it was a blowout pretty much the whole way, so there was no need for a big play from Hilton. There ran it more and had short passes, which worked fine against the Bucs. Against the explosive Niners, however, the Cowboys may need to have some explosive offense of their own, which will include Hilton. The Niners are 24th in DVOA against deep passes and first in DVOA against short passes. Dak will air it out at least a few times tonight, and Hilton can quickly cash this line on one big play, which I think we'll see tonight.
