Tom Brady Next Team Odds: Raiders, 49ers Among Favorites, Patriots Back in the Mix

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were sent packing at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys. Tom Brady struggled most of the night as it was his first time ever losing to the Cowboys. It was an embarrassing loss, 31-14, and during Brady's postgame press conference, he appears to hint at what his future holds. Here is the video of Tom Brady's press conference, which in a way, appeared to sound like a farewell to the Tampa Bay, Florida, media.

However you want to dissect the press conference, it certainly sounded like a goodbye. Brady was choked up at one point while speaking to the media. He said, "I love this organization. It's a great place to be. Thank you, everybody, for welcoming me. Just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave it back to you guys." Brady did not announce anything or any specific ideas or plans for the future, but DraftKings has provided odds for the potential places where Tom Brady will take his next snap. Here is a look at the latest Tom Brady next team odds.

Tom Brady Next Team Odds

Tom Brady is still most likely to remain with the Buccaneers, according to Tom Brady's next team odds. Brady is given +200 odds to remain in Tampa, which is an implied 33% chance. Brady signed with the Buccaneers in 2020, leading them to a Super Bowl two years ago. He retired briefly last February but quickly changed his mind and returned for his 23rd season in the NFL. Tampa was riddled with injuries on both sides of the ball this season, and with a healthy roster and some bolstering of the offensive line, Brady and Tampa can return to their Super Bowl form from two seasons ago.

The Raiders are second in Brady next team odds, given +250 odds or an implied 28% chance they land the greatest quarterback of all time this offseason. The Raiders are clearly moving on from Derek Carr and will be in the market for a quarterback. Brady is familiar with head coach Josh McDaniels from their time with the Patriots when McDaniels was the Offensive Coordinator. The Raiders have great weapons on offense, but they play in arguably the toughest division in the NFL with Mahomes and the Chiefs, Justin Herbert and the Chargers, and a Denver Broncos team that underwhelmed this season but has the pieces. Tom Brady, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Aaron Rodgers are nearly priced evenly to join the Raiders this offseason.

The 49ers are given the third-best odds of where Brady will take his first snap next season at +350 or an implied 22% chance. Brady is a California kid and grew up a 49er fan. He has publicly said he loved Joe Montana and Steve Young and going to 49ers games. That's where he fell in love with football. The 49ers may not be in the market for a quarterback with Brock Purdy and Trey Lance on the roster, but no NFL team is more ready to win.

Some intriguing teams listed in Tom Brady's next team odds are the Dolphins because of the uncertainty surrounding Tua Tagovailoa. Miami pursued Brady this past offseason when he retired and was going to offer him part ownership and have him play quarterback. That fell through, as we know now. The Titans are interesting as they are another roster ready to win now in a week AFC Sout division outside of the up-and-coming Jaguars. Brady is familiar with Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, a former teammate of Brady with the Patriots.

If Brady does indeed continue to play, he will do so at 46 years old next season! I hope he returns for another season. He can still perform at a high level, and many NFL teams are desperate for a great quarterback.
