It is officially time to start thinking about some NFL bets for the new year. Yes, we are about four months away from the first NFL game of the year, but while waiting for the action, I decided that we should start locking in some futures.
NFL Future Prediction
Anyone who has followed me for the last few seasons understands how successful we have been regarding futures, and this future, in particular, is one that I feel extremely confident about. We will be taking the over in team total in wins for the Denver Broncos. The total for the Broncos is currently sitting at 8.5 wins, and I want to take advantage of this number. I believe that the reason this number is so low is based on last season.
Everyone knows how disappointing of a year it was for Denver, going 7-10 and finishing dead last in the division. However, this is a whole new season with a championship coach in the form of Sean Payton. I also expect Russell Wilson to bounce back in a big way and play much better this year. We all know that Wilson is a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback, and I would be shocked if we do not see him bounce back this year and flip the script on the critics. I believe that a big reason Wilson struggled last year was due to the offense that the Broncos ran.
Joe Lombardi will be the Bronco's new offensive coordinator this season, and this guy has been very successful in the NFL. I expect Wilson to thrive in Lombardi's offense, and we all know he has the weapons to support him. On the other side of the football, Denver has finished top seven in total defense in the last two years.
In my eyes, this remains a top-tier defense in football, and if the offense gives them some support, this could be a dangerous team in the mile high. Lastly, Denver will be playing a last-place schedule, so they should have favorable matchups throughout the season. Let’s cash this future in!
