This has been the worst start to a season for the Patriots since 2005. They're sitting at 1-5 and have no answers anywhere. Bill Belichick's team looks lost. The offense hasn't scored more than 20 points in any game this season and hasn't scored more than 17 in each of its last five games.
It's inexcusable. But they'll look to get back on track against an AFC rival, the Buffalo Bills. The Bills didn't have the best performance last weekend against the Giants but escaped after a couple of self-inflicted wounds by New York.
The Bills are 4-2 but are very beatable right now. Can the Patriots earn a home win against an AFC East opponent?

Ultimately, the Bills only give us poor performances in primetime, under the lights. The Bills should be excited that they've got a 1:00 p.m. ET game against the Pats, especially on the road.
The Bills have won four of their last five games, averaging 380.8 yards per game. They've earned 118.2 yards on the ground, with the rest in the air. Josh Allen has thrown for 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. Meanwhile, James Cook has added 75 carries for 363 yards and a touchdown to lead the team in rushing.
Allen's favorite target is Stefon Diggs, who has hauled in 49 catches for 620 yards and five touchdowns. But at times, those two aren't on the same page.
This week, I'd expect them to be fine. The Patriots typically have a great secondary. But it hasn't played very well this season. New England has allowed 321.3 yards per game, with 217.3 yards in the air. It's not all the secondary's fault. It's also the pass rush that has been ineffective all year long.
The Bills will have success offensively.
However, the Patriots likely won't. The Bills have held teams to 349 yards per game, with 215.3 yards in the air themselves. The defense isn't great against the run, allowing 133.7 yards per game. However, the secondary and pass rush has been above-average and playing at a high level.
The expectation is that the Patriots offense struggles to do much of anything again this week. Mac Jones has thrown five touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. He'll undoubtedly be rushed for Buffalo's pass rush in this game, too.
There's a chance we'll see Malik Cunningham play in this game after he signed a three-year deal off the practice squad. He's got the ability to make plays happen with his strong arm and fast feet.
Someone's got to spark this Patriots offense. It likely won't happen overnight.
