Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins Prediction
Leg One: De'Von Achane Anytime Touchdown
De'Von Achane has played four full games this year. He has nine touchdowns on the season. The kid is simply a monster. 22 years old and the third-round pick in last year's draft for Miami, the rookie is easily the most explosive running back in the league right now, with respect to Pacheco in Kansas City. He has had some injury struggles, but his 17 carries for 73 rush yards, three receptions for 30 yards, and two touchdowns show he is healthy again. He is simply automatic to score when he is on the field, and has been given tons of red zone touches. I'm surprised his line isn't more juiced.
Leg Two: De'Von Achane Over 59.5 Rushing Yards
See above for notes on why this guy is electric. Achane leads ALL running backs in the NFL with 9.5 yards per carry for running backs over 50 carries total. For reference, the second-highest is Jaleel McLaughlin on the Broncos, with 5.7 yards per carry.
In the four games Achane has been healthy, he has had more carries than Mostert. Achane is listed 12 yards higher than Mostert on the odds, but I think this is still not enough. We've seen Achane get heavy carries in blowouts, like his 17 last week and 18 in the 70-20 win over the Broncos. He easily passed 60.5 rushing yards in both of those games. Achane should get a full workload now that he's healthy again, and he will easily pass 60.
Leg Three: Tua Tagovailoa Under 31.5 Pass Attempts
The Dolphins' offense is the most explosive in the NFL. Led by Tua Tagovailoa (3,457 passing yards) and Tyreek Hill, who leads the NFL with 1,481 receiving yards, the Dolphins haven't been slowed down by too many teams. However, because Tua hits so many big plays to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, he doesn't need many passing attempts to move the ball.
The Dolphins are 20th in passes per game, 21st in pass play %, yet 1st in completion percentage and 2nd in yards per pass. This means Tua is the most efficient quarterback in the NFL, and gets the most yards out of the least plays needed. Also, the Dolphins rank 12th in rush play percentage, and given the Dolphins have both Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane healthy, they will likely run the ball a lot in a blowout tonight. Tua has gone under 31.5 attempts in back-to-back games in blowouts, and he only had 26 attempts in the 70-20 win over the Broncos in Week 3. The Dolphins can easily score 30+ in this game, and Tua doesn't need to throw the ball a lot.
