Patriots vs. Bills Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Josh Allen, Bills Continue to Roll?

A month ago, many analysts predicted that the Buffalo Bills wouldn't make the playoffs with a demanding schedule in the second half.

However, they've won three straight games and four of their last five to get to 9-6 on the season. Now they've got a home game against a four-win Patriots team, looking for their 10th win of the year.

But while the Patriots have just four wins this season, two came in the last three weeks. New England is coming off a win against the Denver Broncos, 26-23, behind another solid performance from Bailey Zappe.

Can the Patriots at least cover against the Bills on Sunday?

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills.

Patriots vs. Bills Prediction

The Bills look like one of the best teams in the NFL right now. They've earned four wins in their last five games, including victories against the Chiefs and Cowboys.

Buffalo didn't play its best football last week against the Chargers but still earned a 24-22 win.

The Bills would like to find Stefon Diggs more frequently. He's been almost a non-factor in most games in the second half. However, the Bills have still added 26.87 points per game while adding 243.67 yards in the air and another 130.47 yards on the ground per game.

New England has looked great against the run defensively, holding teams to 84.80 yards per game. Meanwhile, the secondary and pass rush have lagged behind, giving up over 221 yards a game in the air.

Josh Allen should have all of the time in the pocket against the Patriots. That should allow for Diggs to get more involved in this offense.

On the other hand, the Bills are dominant against the pass, holding teams to 198.93 yards in the air. However, against the run, Buffalo has given up 111.27 yards per game.

The Bills aren't always effective against the run and have missed countless tackles this season.

The Patriots are unsure if Rhamondre Stevenson will return. But Ezekiel Elliott will absolutely play. A tandem between those two could actually make a true impact in this game against the Bills.

In a rivalry matchup, the Patriots will keep this game close. The Bills will likely escape, but I've enjoyed how Bailey Zappe has played and believe the run game will have some breakout plays against Buffalo.

Give me the Patriots at +12.
