NFL Divisional Round Saturday Player Props: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets for Texans vs. Ravens, Packers vs. 49ers

The NFL Playoffs have reached the second stage after an exciting opening weekend. The first two divisional games take place on Saturday evening, and feature both of the number one seeds in action for the first time.

The Houston Texans will head to Baltimore for a battle with the Ravens, while the San Francisco 49ers will host the surprising Green Bay Packers. Both top seeds are nearly double-digit favorites, with the Ravens and 49ers currently sitting at -9.5 each. The public bet is over 60% on both of the underdogs, but I'm expecting some potential blowouts from these high-powered offenses with Super Bowl aspirations.

In order to find success in the touchdown scorers market, it is important to script the game flow. Some people will turn to scorers to avoid making a pick on the spread, but if you don't feel confidently about how the game will go, it will make it even harder to hit a longshot scorer.

We have a pretty good idea of who to focus on in these two games, and are expecting a heavy helping of touchdowns from the well-rested top seeds. Who should you target to find the end zone on Saturday evening? Let's take a look at the latest touchdown scorer odds for the NFL Divisional Round and get into our top player prop picks.

NFL Divisional Round Saturday Top Anytime TD Bets

Isaiah Likely (+230) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Let's start off our Saturday scorers list with one of our favorite options on the board. Isaiah Likely has taken over as the Ravens' starting tight end after Mark Andrews went down with an injury halfway through the season, and he has delivered in a big way for this offense. Andrews was originally expected to suit up on Saturday in some capacity for the first time, but was later ruled out on Friday afternoon. Likely is peaking in his absence, and will continue being a focal point this weekend before Andrews returns for the AFC Championship.

Andrews was carted off on Thursday Night Football in Week 11 after suffering an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals. Likely played six full weeks after that as the lone tight end starter, and his numbers have been dominant. In six games, he has five touchdowns, two of which came in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins. Lamar Jackson will keep the targets coming for the athletic tight end against the Texans, and he's got a decent shot to continue his scoring streak in this raucous home playoff atmosphere.

Zay Flowers (+150) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Ravens rookie has been a standout addition to the offense in 2023. Baltimore has struggled to find wide receiver production in recent years to support Lamar Jackson, so they drafted Flowers out of Boston College in the first round. Flowers' speed has fit the Ravens' explosive offense perfectly, and has translated to many big play touchdowns in recent weeks, including a 75-yard bomb against the Dolphins.

Flowers has scored in four the last five games, and shows no signs of slowing down as he looks to peak in the playoffs. This will be his first career playoff game, but he'll lean on team vets like OBJ and Rashod Bateman to help him get ready. He is a serious threat wherever he lines up, and his first ever game against the Texans earned him nine grabs for 78 yards in Week 1. Look for him to have similar success in the second meeting, as Jackson sets him up to break loose downfield.

Dalton Schultz (+310) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

As previously noted above, the way you lean on a total is going to have a massive impact on the touchdown scorers you select. The total in Texans vs. Ravens is just 43.5 and dropping, after opening up as high as 46. I've got the under in this one, with a lot of sharp money coming in to back the Ravens defense. Lost in the hoopla of the Texans blowout victory over the Browns was the loss of yet another Houston receiver, with Noah Brown going down for the season. They already lost their true no. 1 in Tank Dell halfway through the season, and really only have Nico Collins remaining from the original core of youngsters.

The Ravens will be sure to lock up Collins, which is why we are going to avoid him at the less valuable +155 odds. He has scored in three of the last four, and while Stroud has loved throwing it to him, the connection will be harder to make with the increased focus on him. Instead, let's take a longer shot with tight end Dalton Schultz. Schultz has five touchdowns on the year, and with the loss of Brown, Stroud will have to look elsewhere to pick up the slack. Shultz is one of the few veterans on this squad, and will be able to get open when it counts to help his team out.

I'm only offering one Texans player in this writeup, because with a team total of 16.5 where I favor the under, I don't expect them to find much success scoring the football against a staunch Ravens defense. After ruling out Collins, the other best target is Devin Singletary, who has scored in each of the last two games. While the Ravens don't have the best rush defense in terms of yards allowed, they lead the league in rushing touchdowns allowed at just six on the entire season. Singletary may get some yards on them, but they'll lock him down when he tries to approach the end zone, so we are gonna pass on him as well at +130 odds and roll with Schultz.

Brandon Aiyuk (+135) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The San Francisco 49ers come into their contest against the Green Bay Packers off a bye, and will be well-rested to take on the upstart challengers. Brandon Aiyuk has dominated as a pass catcher for the Niners throughout the year, and is having the best season of his career by far. Aiyuk has amassed almost 500 more yards than Deebo Samuel, eclipsing him for the second-straight year after previously getting overshadowed.

While Deebo (+100) is always a threat to score, we are going to roll with Aiyuk in this matchup. Aiyuk was red-hot in the middle of the season, piling up a touchdown in four straight games in November. He has cooled off from the end zone a bit, but has still been dominant through the air. Aiyuk has 100+ yards in three of his last four games, yet only one TD in those games. That amount of volume will eventually translate to another score, and the Packers haven't shown the ability to stop most of their opposing wide receivers in recent weeks.

George Kittle (+145) (Bet $100 to Collect $290) Click here for the best odds, available at FanDuel

With a total of 50.5, we are expecting a lot of touchdowns in the Packers vs. Niners game, and most of them will be coming from the San Fran side. The 49ers have a team total of 30.5, and are poised to blow through that number if the game starts hot for them. The Packers may have impressed last week after surprising the Cowboys, but the Niners are a different animal. They'll be able to frustrate the rookie quarterback with Nick Bosa and Chase Young up front, while manhandling their suspect defense on the other side with a steady dose of Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk.

The other piece of that equation is George Kittle. The Niners' star tight end only has one touchdown in his last six games, but is still a major offensive contributor. He will find large openings over the middle against the Packers defense, and Purdy will get the ball to him when he needs to. The Packers will already have their hands full trying to stop CMC, Deebo, and Aiyuk, and their focus won't be on the semi-dormant Kittle in the red zone. His odds at +145 are surprisingly low for someone who hasn't scored in three weeks, so the books are expecting some important targets coming to the experienced Kittle in a big playoff matchup.

Jayden Reed (+210) (Bet $100 to Collect $345) Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings

Jayden Reed has led the Packers in receiving this year, despite only being a rookie. He has established a great connection with Jordan Love in their first season together, and it has only heated up down the stretch. This Packers vs. Niners game has a surprisingly high total at 50.5 points, and while I expect the Niners to do the bulk of the scoring, the Packers will find a way to punch a few in.

In the Packers' blowout win over the Cowboys last week, Reed surprisingly didn't have a single catch. He acknowledged as much online, jokingly apologizing for ruining parlays on Twitter after the victory. He scored three critical touchdowns at the end of the regular season to help boost the Packers into the playoffs, so look for him to get back in the scoring column this week as he and Love try to keep this one close.
