This Weekend's Best Bets: The Five Best Bets for the Weekend Ahead

This weekend is loaded with some intriguing matchups.

On Friday night, you should drop whatever plans you have. Arizona and Kansas State will be live on FOX at 8:00 p.m. ET in what should be an epic ranked matchup between two Big 12 teams.

Then, on Saturday, there will be some other rivalries in college football, including Oregon-Oregon State. This is the first matchup since Oregon left the Pac-12 for the Big Ten.

Finally, the NFL is entering Week 2 of the NFL season. Of course, I've added multiple NFL bets you'll want to consider on Sunday.

Below are the five best bets for the weekend.

Favorite 5 Weekend Picks

NCAAF: Arizona Wildcats vs. Kansas State Wildcats: Arizona +7 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Friday, September 13, 8:00 PM ET

I've had a hard time dissecting how Kansas State can hold on and beat Arizona, even at home. Although the Wildcats are a seven-point favorite, they're weaker in most areas through two weeks of the season.

Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan have become one of the best duos in football. Meanwhile, Kansas State's best receiver has six receptions for 88 yards.

Plus, Arizona's defense has been really good against the run. The missed tackles need to be fixed, but overall, Arizona looks like the better team heading into Week 3, statistically and analytically.

NCAAF: Oregon vs. Oregon State: Oregon State +16 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Saturday, September 14, 3:30 PM ET

Oregon State just got really good news about the potential of four Mountain West teams heading into the Pac-12.

They've got to be fired up about that!

Meanwhile, Oregon State is at home and just held San Diego State to no points in a 21-0 victory on the road.

Oregon struggled to put away FCS Idaho and narrowly defeated Boise State. At +16 on home turf, give me Oregon State +16.

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens: Ravens -9 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Sunday, September 15, 1:00 PM ET

As long as you can find the Ravens below -10, I'm all for subtracting the points with the Ravens at home against the Raiders.

Baltimore didn't play its best against the Chiefs and almost still ended up with a game-tying (or winning) catch at the buzzer.

We'll finally start to see Derrick Henry earn some big yardage down the field, and the offense will open up more against Las Vegas.

NFL: Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jaguars -3 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)

Sunday, September 15, 1:00 PM ET

The Browns already lost David Njoku for this week due to an ankle injury. While that might not seem very significant, let's not forget Njoku led the Browns in receiving yards in Week 1 despite missing a portion of the game due to that same injury.

On the other hand, the Jaguars made some timely errors that cost them the game against the Dolphins. But still, on the road against the Dolphins is never easy, and the Jaguars are still hanging in there.

They'll perform much better at home against Deshaun Watson and the Browns.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Bengals +5.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Sunday, September 15, 4:25 PM ET

Joe Burrow is 3-1 against Patrick Mahomes in his career.

Sure, Week 1 didn't go as planned. But the first week of the season doesn't define a team. We'll likely see Ja'Marr Chase much more active in this Cincinnati offense in Week 2. Meanwhile, the defense still held New England to just 16 points.

Usually, that's enough to get the Bengals a win.

I'll grab the points with the Bengals. It'll be closer than some think.
