Lions vs. Packers DraftKings Pick6 Picks: How Should You Build Your Thursday Night Football Entry?

Thursday Night Football has long been reserved for some of the less fortunate games on the NFL schedule. Who can forget the days of Jaguars vs. Titans color rush showdowns ending in 5 field goals and countless turnovers? Luckily for us, this week's Thursday Nigth matchup has far more to offer than those games in the past.

Tonight, the Detroit Lions play host to their NFC North rival, the Green Bay Packers, with key positioning in the division on the line. If the Lions win, they improve to 12-1 on the season, keep the Minnesota Vikings at bay and probably end any shot of the Packers winning the North. If the Packers lose, the Lions are officially tied with the two-loss Vikings and just a game in front of the Pack.

With so much on the line, we need a DraftKings Pick6 entry in order to make sure we're getting in on all the action. I've put together a four-leg entry that will win you a minimum guarantee of 8x of your original stake, but it could be even more.

So, let's dive into this week's DraftKings PIck6 picks for Packers vs. Lions.

Lions vs. Packers DraftKings Pick6 Picks

Jordan Love Over 257.5 Passing Yards

This line seems suspiciously low for Jordan Love on Thursday night, so I'm going to hop all over it. Using the oddschecker+ trends tool, we see Love comes into tonight's game against Detroit having exceeded this number in three of his last four games. The lone game he didn't go over 257 yards passing came against the San Francisco 49ers in a matchup they had in hand by halftime.

These two teams met in early November and Love threw for 273 yards on 39 attempts despite only scoring 14 points as a team. I expect a similar result tonight as the Pack will be forced to air it out to keep up with the Lions.

Josh Jacobs Under 71.5 Rushing Yards

We're kind of bucking the trend here, going with the under for Josh Jacobs, but I truly think he won't see the ball much tonight as both teams try and put up points quickly. Last week, Jacobs rushed the ball 19 times for just 43 yards, good for 2.3 yards per carry.

Still, the last time the Packers and Lions met, Jacobs only touched the ball 13 times in the run game. He finished with 95 yards, but it was a 37-yard rush that put him over the top. Without that scamper, it would have been a similarly slow day for the Packers' running back.

Jameson Williams Over 3.5 Receptions

Over the past three weeks, Jameson Williams has become a crucial part of the Detroit Lions' offense. Since being drafted in the first round, fans have been waiting for him to become more consistent and less dependent on the long ball. It seems we may have arrived at that point.

Over the past three weeks, Jameson Williams has averaged 6.67 targets per game and has had four or more catches in every single game. Even last week, in a game he only finished with 28 yards, he had five catches. 3.5 receptions seems like a gift here from DraftKings Pick6.

Jayden Reed Under 65.5 Receiving Yards

I had to check my phone five times to make sure I was seeing Jayden Reed's line correctly, but yes, DraftKings has set it at 65.5 receiving yards. Here is where Reed's recent performances stand in regard to this 65.5 line. Using the oddschecker+ trends tool, we see that in his last seven games, Reed has gone over this number just one time. In his last three games, Reed has finished with 23, 26 and 24 yards receiving. Reed is a valuable target in the red zone, but he does not eat up a large portion of the Packers' target share.
