The Lions and Vikings will battle it out on Sunday Night Football, with everything on the line in the NFC North. Peter Alexis breaks it down in this Vikings vs. Lions same-game parlay picks for SNF.

FanDuel Same-Game Parlay Pick: Back This +560 Vikings vs. Lions SGP on Sunday Night Football

The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings will meet for one last time on Sunday Night Football, with both teams vying for the NFC North crown and the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC Playoff picture.

The Lions are technically still in the No. 1 seed spot entering this game, and while the winner takes all, the Lions hold the slight edge in the extremely rare event of a tie game. Both teams are 14-2, and are desperate to secure the first round bye and get a much-needed rest for their banged-up teams. The Lions are patching together a defense to enter the playoffs, and will need everything to work in their favor to stop the high-powered Vikings offense tonight.

FanDuel Same-Game Parlay - Vikings vs. Lions

Leg 1: Alt Over 48.5 Total Points

Let's start this final Sunday Night Football game off with an alternate total for the game script. Instead of taking Vikings +7.5, we are going to to go with Over 48.5 total points here, even if it could be considered a square play. These two teams know each other well, and there's going to be a massive amount of offense one way or another. We have two of the worst passing defenses in the league, both giving up 250 yards per game in the air. Sam Darnold and Jared Goff are going to take advantage of this, lighting up the scoreboard with their stacked offenses. They went for 60 in the last matchup in October, and the units are looking even more refined since then. Throw the public percentages out the window tonight, this line has climbed four points since opening at 52.5, and it should soar tonight. We'll grab the few extra points as insurance in case there's a conservative stalemate in the fourth quarter.

Leg 2: Justin Jefferson Anytime TD Scorer

The Vikings don't have a shot in this game without getting Justin Jefferson going. He was a star in their last meeting, catching seven balls for 81 yards and a touchdown. He's got 10 touchdowns on the season, but didn't score last week after going for two against the Seahawks in Week 16. Jefferson will find his way into the end zone against a weak Lions secondary tonight, they simply can't cover him.

Leg 3: Sam LaPorta Over 48.5 Receiving Yards

Sam LaPorta is our sneaky target to avoid the hype on Amon-Ra St. Brown. LaPorta has come on strong for the Lions after a slow start, catching chunk plays from Jared Goff down the stretch. He has six or more targets in each of the last seven games, and has 43 or more yards in all of his last four games, going well over his listed line in three of the four. LaPorta is peaking at the right time, and we're going to trust Goff to feed him while the Vikings defense tries to shut down St. Brown and Gibbs.

Leg 4: T.J. Hockenson Over 3.5 Receptions

Sticking with the tight end trend, let's get another undercover play on T.J. Hockenson tonight. This is a slight alternate line with his receptions set at 4.5 for extra insurance. Hockenson returned from injury in November, and has really caught fire in the past month. He has 5+ targets in each of his last six games, and has gone over this receptions number in all but two of them. Hockenson connects well with Darnold, and as the Lions use their limited defensive resources to try and shut down Jordan Addison and Jefferson, Hockenson will feast underneath.
