4 Minute ReadArgonauts vs. Elks Prediction: Can Elks Snap Small Losing Streak, Return to Form on Saturday Afternoon in Showdown with Toronto?
Edmonton hosts Toronto in Week 11 on Saturday afternoon. The Elks are -3.5 (-115) favorites and -218 on the moneyline, while the Argonauts are +3.5 (-105) and +180 to win outright. The total is set at 61.5, with the over at -112 and under at -108. Toronto enters 4-4, while Edmonton sits at 6-3.
The matchup creates an intriguing momentum contrast. Toronto just produced one of its most impressive wins of the season by knocking off Calgary, while Edmonton has dropped consecutive games after establishing itself as one of the CFL’s early leaders. The Elks now return home with an opportunity to prove those losses were a temporary stumble rather than the beginning of a larger regression.

Argonauts vs. Elks Prediction
Edmonton’s skid began with a narrow 28-26 loss to Saskatchewan before Montreal overwhelmed the Elks 48-30 last Saturday. The defense allowed Tyson Philpot to score three touchdowns in the Montreal defeat, a major step backward for a team that had previously won three straight. Edmonton still owns six victories and remains one of the strongest teams in the West, but fixing a defense that surrendered 76 points across two games becomes the immediate priority.
Toronto improved to .500 by beating Calgary 33-30 despite committing five turnovers. Chad Kelly and the Argonauts generated 454 yards of offense, and Samuel Hicks scored once rushing and once receiving before Toronto won on a field goal at the end of regulation. Producing that result despite repeatedly giving Calgary extra possessions was impressive, but another turnover-heavy performance will be much harder to survive on the road.
The Argonauts have enough offense to make Edmonton uncomfortable, and their win over Calgary showed that they can trade scores with one of the league’s most explosive attacks. Edmonton, however, has now had two consecutive reminders of how quickly games can turn against quality opponents. The Elks should be more aggressive defensively at home and can lean on an offense that has consistently generated enough production to keep pressure on opponents.
Argonauts vs. Elks Pick
- Pick: Edmonton Elks -3.5 (-110) Check out these best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Toronto is dangerous enough that laying a touchdown would be excessive, but -3.5 keeps the requirement manageable. The Elks remain 6-3 despite their skid, return to Commonwealth Stadium and should approach this game with significantly greater urgency. Toronto may keep it competitive after its Calgary win, but Edmonton is positioned to respond and reestablish itself among the West’s top teams.
