U.S. Open Picks, Predictions, and Odds: Is Scottie Scheffler the Inevitable Choice at Pinehurst?
Last week at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio, Scottie Scheffler held on to win and continued his incredible run this spring. In between the birth of his child and his unfortunate arrest, Scheffler has won nearly every tournament he's taken part in over the last three months. Can he keep it up on a difficult course at Pinehurst No. 2 with the entire field gunning for him?
This week, our golf experts Geoff and Andy are back, looking to capitalize on Scheffler's momentum and find us another winner. We now head to the U.S. Open in North Carolina, the third major of the year on Tour.
Only four golfers have ever finished under par at the three previous U.S. Open's held here, so who's going to get it done this time? Take a few minutes to watch Geoff and Andy's U.S. Open predictions and picks below to find out.

U.S. Open Predictions
While the U.S. Open is one of the premier golf events of the year on the PGA Tour, the card has smaller sprinkles for Geoff Fienberg and Andy Lack as we head to Pinehurst on Thursday.
Despite their extensive research and greatest efforts, Geoff and Andy can't deny the inevitably of Scottie Scheffler at this point in the season. He has delivered under pressure time and time again, and this weekend may be no different.
Dating back to the Arnold Palmer Invitational in early March, Scheffler has piled up five wins including a green jacket at Augusta. On the few occasions that he didn't win, he finished in second at two others.
Andy is rolling with Scheffler +350, even with the square elements of the pick and limited value on the number. While Geoff agrees with his sentiment, he's going to take a stab at a few other longshots to compliment his already existing futures card of Sahith Theegala +9000, Ludvig Aberg +6000, and Viktor Hovland +2500. All three have gotten shorter odds since he grabbed them, and they've all showed strong potential this year.
In addition to his futures picks, Andy likes the limited chatter on Rory McIlroy at +1300, and thinks he still has a chance to rival Scheffler despite poor results to this point. He's also adding longshot positions on Cam Smith and Hideki Matsuyama at +5000 each.
