Montreal Canadiens vs. Ottawa Senators Prediction
The last time these teams last met in Ottawa back in October we saw a ten goal game that Montreal took by a final score of 6-4. With wins in both meetings so far this season, Montreal looks to move to 3-0 on the year against the Senators tonight while Ottawa should be very motivated to put one on their side of the ledger.
Ottawa has played much better than their record indicates in my opinion and this team has a legit capability to score. They have talent with Vladimir Taresenko, Brady Tkachuk, Claude Giroux and Co. and I like the way they have been playing lately, regardless of outcomes. They have a lot of pace and 11 of the last 15 games they have played have gone over. They are playing a style of hockey that is a clear cut recipe for goals and I am here for it.
On the flip side, we have a young Montreal squad that has had it's ups and downs this season but us riding back-to-back victories into this one over solid teams in Colorado and New Jersey. I think it is a small boost but momentum nonetheless, this is the most gettable team you have seen in a week and you have already beat them twice this year.
