Minnesota Wild vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction: Can Clayton Keller, Coyotes Snap Losing Streak At Home?

The Minnesota Wild continue their trip out west tonight as they travel to Arizona to take on the Coyotes. Minnesota is coming off a win on the road against the Golden Knights as underdogs, and they are now road favorites against a Coyotes team that they are just ahead of in the standings. The Wild are 6th in the Central Division with a 24–23–5 record, while the Coyotes are 7th in the Central with a 23–24–4 record. Can the Coyotes win tonight as underdogs?

Minnesota Wild vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction

The Wild have been hot since the return from the All-Star break. The Wild are 3-0 since the break, beating the Blackhawks, Penguins, and Golden Knights. The Wild are led unsurprisingly by Kirill Kaprizov, who has 49 points on the team. Joel Eriksson Ek leads the team with 23 goals, and he is second with 42 points overall. Mats Zuccarello leads the team with 31 assists and has 40 points total. The Wild are strong at left wing, but their defense and goalie play leave much to be loved. Marc-André Fleury has had an up-and-down season, and has a record of 9–12 with a 90% flat save rate. Fleury has had a good surge lately, but still has work to do to get his season numbers up. The Coyotes have been the exact opposite of the Wild since the All-Star break. The Coyotes are winless since play resumed, with losses against the Golden Knights, Predators, and Flyers. They have now lost six games in a row, and will look to end that losing tonight at home. The good news for the Coyotes is that they’ve played very well at home. They are 15–10 at home this season, and have undoubtedly played their best hockey in Arizona. The Coyotes are led by center Clayton Keller who has 49 points on the season. He leads the team in both goals and assists, and is the foundation of this team. The other good news for the Coyotes is that they can always win a game that Connor Ingram starts. The goalie has been one of the best parts of this Coyotes team this year, and is 17–12–2 on the year with a 2.7 goals allowed average and 91.2% save rate. He also has five shutouts on the season. While he’s had a little bit of a cold spell, he is always good at home and he faces a Wild team that can be very inconsistent. I love taking the Coyotes as Home underdogs tonight. They have consistently been profitable as home underdogs for the past two seasons now, and they are above .500 at home, so anytime I can get them plus money against an inconsistent team like the Wild, I will take it. Connor Ingram has been the better goalie this season, and I love back in the team with the better goalie net. Take the Coyotes tonight as Home underdogs.
