I am going to watch every minute of this hockey game. The Florida Panthers (41-16-4) are heading to Madison Square Garden for a clash with the New York Rangers (40-17-4) in an Eastern Confernnce clash between two squads with Stanley Cup ambitions and rightfully so.

Florida Panthers vs. New York Rangers Prediction
These squads are phenomenal, both of them are playing absolutely terrific hockey and are in the positions they are in for one reason - they deserve it. They both have incredible forwards with solid two-way play, a couple defensemen that can lead the pack on the backend, and netminders that can contend for a Vezina Trophy. Weirdly enough, both squads actually have two top-tier netminders. Not to compare the career of Anthony Stolarz to the other three, but you can't deny his numbers this season, the kid is playing great hockey. Other than that though, the Rangers have the best 1-2 punch in the league with Igor Shesterkin and the resurgence of Jonathan Quick. On the flip side, Sergei Bobrovsky has looked like the man that dueled with team USA in the Sochi Olympics - BOB looks good.
With that said, I just can't fade the Cats right now. Night in, night out, they play like a winning hockey team, and they just get after it every time they hit the ice. With multiple overtime/shootout wins over the last two weeks, some teams would seemingly be due for regression. But not Florida, if anything, they are proving now more than ever how worthy they are to make a run back to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Cats are playing the best hockey in the league right now, and if I am going to get them at a price like this, I will bite and say thank you. Look for a big road win from Florida.
