Only eight teams remain in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals, with a pair of marquee matchups on Saturday, July 5th. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) takes on Bayern Munich at 12 p.m. ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, followed by Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund at 4 p.m. ET in MetLife Stadium.
Oddsmakers are valuing PSG and Real Madrid as favorites to win. However, it's been a tournament filled with upsets and drama. This is the Knockout Stage, which is single-elimination and not a multi-leg aggregate like other international soccer tournaments, so it's safe to expect the unexpected. Handicapper Matt MacKay is here with updated 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals odds, plus two picks for Sunday's loaded slate. Follow Matt's X account for more betting analysis and free picks.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals Picks:
PSG vs. Bayern Munich
Coming off of their first UEFA Champions League win, PSG is the current betting favorite to win the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup at +250 odds. The Parisians have looked the part, going 3-1 SU, with a +9 goal differential.
Bayern Munich put on a clinic early in the Group Stage, winning 10-0 over Auckland City. The German club cooled off a bit before mounting another dominant offensive performance against Flamengo in the Round of 16, winning 4-2.
There's a ton of star power on both rosters ahead of Sunday's Quarterfinals matchup in Atlanta. Bayern Munich is led by Harry Kane and Michael Olise, each with three goals, along with strong support from Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala.
PSG has a lot of depth, with seven different players scoring in this tournament. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has three points, including a pair of assists, while Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha and Joǎo Neves have been solid with their production on the pitch.
This Quarterfinals match could be a high-scoring affair. However, PSG has only allowed one goal in four matches during this tournament. Their defense is stout, and offensively, they've scored at least two goals in three matches.
Bayern Munich doesn't have a stellar defense, forcing them to counter with production in the offensive zone. We've seen the German Bundesliga club shut out once during a 1-0 loss to Benfica during the Group Stage. This also happened during PSG's 1-0 loss against Botafogo in the Group Stage.
Ultimately, PSG is playing with more momentum and confidence, while also rostering a better defense. Let's back the Parisians to win in regulation on the moneyline at +125 odds.

Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid is a close second behind PSG in the FIFA Club World Cup Winner futures market, sitting at +275 odds. The Whites are led by Gonzalo García with three goals, while seven different players have recorded an assist.
Borussia Dortmund won't go out quietly against the Spaniards. This German Bundesliga club are 3-0-1 in FIFA Club World Cup play, beating Monterrey 2-1 in the Round of 16. A pair of early goals from Serhou Guirassy allowed Dortmund to sit on their lead for the rest of the match.
Real Madrid is also 3-0-1 against opponents in this tournament. They won a low-scoring Round of 16 match against Juventus, with García netting the lone goal to advance to the Quarterfinals after posting a 1-0 win in regulation.
This Quarterfinals match against Dortmund could wind up being a low-scoring match. Both teams have allowed one total goal in their last four combined matches.
Oddsmakers have the goal total set to 3.5, with under 3.5 available to bet at -170 odds. I'll take it a step further and recommend betting under 2.5 total goals at +140 odds.
