Kudermetova has been really playing some amazing tennis and hasn’t even lost a set in the first three rounds. She has really shown her domination. Now comes the Wimbledon finalist in Ons Jabeur. Ons has had to battle every single match even fought off a couple of match points to get here. This surface is her least favorite out of all the surfaces also. But she just knows how to win and has shown that.

This will be the fourth matchup of these two. Kudermetova has won every match and hasn’t even lost a set to Jabeur in any of those matchups. Also, these two matched in the quarterfinals in San Jose on hardcourt where Kudermetova won 2-0. The one thing about Ons is you never can count her out of the match. But in this match, I give the advantage to Kudermetova with the way her form has been. If she can continue to get her first serve in and really use her strong rally game to her advantage she can frustrate Ons a lot. Ons also has shown to be very vulnerable so far in this tournament.

When I saw this matchup I really fell in love with this line they were giving us to Kudermetova. I feel she should have been the favorite based on how these two have been playing in this tournament. I really see her continuing her hot streak and taking Ons down. Ons has has a long tournament with multiple three-set matches. I feel like today is the day her luck runs out. I expect Kudermetova to frustrate Ons to the max and take this win from her!
