MUSICAL SOLDIER has enjoyed a fine summer and rounded out a three-timer here last week. Those victories all came over 7f and his previous attempts at a mile have left a little to be desired, but he is a much improved gelding now and has finished off his recent races well. To be fair, none of the others are surefire stayers, with the exception possibly Heir Of Ambition, of whom significantly better is expected now he goes handicapping. Laughterintherain showed a bit more at Ffos Las and is worth a look.
