Newcastle Friday 18:15 - Price Boost

oddschecker Verdict

George Boughey saddled the winner of this 12 months ago and relies on Hunstanton this time around. The Night Of Thunder colt needs to leave a lacklustre introduction behind him, though, and it is probably best to look elsewhere. A 220,000gns purchase, Big Tribe would be interesting if the market speaks in his favour, while Princeland and Knightbolt look capable judged on their respective debuts. This should be a good opportunity for ASHEYRA, however. Third on her debut before chasing home subsequent Rockfel winner Pensando A Te at Ascot, she sets a clear standard and is likely to prove hard to beat if she replicate either of those efforts.

Prediction: 1st Asheyra, 2nd Big Tribe, 3rd Princeland
