ROAD TO HOME was placed three times over fences last season and can make a winning return. The Gamut gelding was last seen finishing third in the Gold Cup at Sandown off a mark of 137, having previously been narrowly defeated in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham. That's very strong form reverting to a beginners chase. His stable companion Chart Topper grants Willie Mullins another serious contender, given he was last seen running off 140 in a competitive handicap hurdle at Aintree. Another for the shortlist is Captain Ryan Matt, who is also useful over timber and could be an improver now he goes chasing.
