Bold Commander sets the standard, although not too high in this modest autumn maiden. The son of No Nay Never has had five starts, with his best run coming when he was runner-up in a Bellewstown maiden. He has been disappointing since and blinkers are now used for a positive impact. However, a chance is taken on the newcomer SONNY HAYES, even though he was a non runner due to the softer conditions at the Curragh on Saturday. His stablemate won that race, and this Blue Point colt has an appealing profile. The other Ballydoyle contender, Anthony Of Lisbon, was off the bridle some way out on debut, but he should improve for that experience under 10lb claimer Freya Frain.
