THE AUSTRIAN might just add to his recent maiden success as he starts out in handicaps. He went close when runner-up over 10 furlongs at the Curragh and then secured his first win over a trip closer to today's at Listowel, finishing when well on top as an odds-on favourite. Cladach has been busy in recent weeks and turns out again after taking third place behind well-backed favourite Suir Monard at Killarney on Monday. He has certainly held his form well, as has Nermal, who was a winner over 10 furlongs at Roscommon at the end of June and wasn't beaten far at all from a wide draw at the Galway Festival next time.
Prediction: 1st The Austrian, 2nd Cladach, 3rd Nermal
