Albert Pujols Home Run Odds Breakdown
Sportsbooks are giving Albert Pujols a 47.62% chance to fall just short of reaching 700 home runs. His odds of hitting exactly 700 home runs is 11.76% and to hit 701+ is 22.73%. Even if Pujols is unable to clear 700 home runs, he has a chance to do something else that's pretty special.
He trails Alex Rodriguez by just one home run for fourth place all time. He has another month to hit two more home runs and with the pace that he's playing at, he may be able to do it.
Over the last four weeks, Pujols has hit nine home runs while batting .393 and with an OPS of 1.335. That's an unbelievable month for anybody but when you add in the fact that he's 42 it makes it that much more impressive.
He's dominated lefties all year with a .370 average and a 1.202 OPS. Hopefully, for our sake, the Cardinals get some more lefty matchups for him so we can see if he can make history as only the fourth player in the sport to clear 700 home runs.
