NBA Draft 3rd Overall Pick Odds: Grizzlies Favored to Grab Duke's Cameron Boozer at Three on Tuesday Night
The No. 3 pick market in the 2026 NBA Draft is expected to come down to Cameron Boozer and Darryn Peterson, depending on what Utah does at No. 2. Caleb Wilson is more involved here than he was in the first two markets, but the consensus still points to him being lined up for Chicago at No. 4.

4 Minute ReadNBA Draft Third Pick Odds: Grizzlies Looking for Boozer If Still on Board at Three
The Memphis Grizzlies will select third, and Cameron Boozer is the favorite to be selected No. 3 overall at -260. Darryn Peterson is second at +340, while Caleb Wilson is third at +900.
AJ Dybantsa is also listed at +2800, but he should be long gone by this point if the draft follows the expected script. The real question is whether Boozer or Peterson is still available when Memphis goes on the clock.

NBA Draft Third Pick Odds Breakdown
Cameron Boozer (-260)
Boozer is the expected No. 3 pick because the board naturally points him to Memphis if Dybantsa goes first and Peterson goes second. That has been the cleanest mock-draft structure for most of the process, and the market still leans that way with Boozer as the clear favorite.
The Duke freshman brings the kind of two-way certainty that makes sense for Memphis. He was one of the most productive players in college basketball, with scoring, rebounding, passing and physicality that should translate quickly. He may not have the same mystery-box upside as some of the other freshmen, but he gives the Grizzlies a frontcourt building block who can help immediately while still carrying long-term All-Star potential.
The only real question is whether he even gets here. If Utah takes Boozer at No. 2, this market flips toward Peterson. But if the Jazz stick with the expected Peterson pick, Boozer becomes the obvious Memphis selection, which is why he is sitting at -260.
Darryn Peterson (+340)
Peterson at +340 is tied almost entirely to the No. 2 decision. If Utah passes on him for Boozer, he would become the most talented player left and a natural fit for Memphis at No. 3.
The Peterson-to-Memphis angle also has added intrigue because of the rumors around his preferred landing spots. Reports have suggested Peterson’s camp would rather land with Washington or Memphis than Utah, which gives this market more personality than a normal draft slot. If Memphis is the team he wants, the Grizzlies would likely have little issue taking a guard with this much shot-creation upside.
The concern is that Memphis may never get the chance. Peterson is still favored to go second, and Utah needs guard talent badly enough to ignore the outside noise if it believes he is the best player available. At +340, Peterson is the direct Boozer hedge, not because he is likely to fall, but because the Jazz pick could easily decide both the No. 2 and No. 3 markets.
Caleb Wilson (+900)
Wilson is more live at No. 3 than he was in the earlier markets, but he is still clearly behind Boozer and Peterson. At +900, he is being priced as the Memphis reach or curveball option rather than the expected pick.
The talent case is strong. Wilson has size, athleticism, defensive range, high-motor play and enough offensive versatility to fit in almost any frontcourt. If Memphis wants a different type of forward than Boozer, Wilson gives the Grizzlies more open-floor athleticism and a profile that could develop into a major two-way piece.
The issue is the draft breadcrumb trail. Wilson is widely tied to Chicago at No. 4, and reports that he took his only pre-draft visit with the Bulls strengthen that connection. Unless Memphis decides to jump the line for him or Utah creates chaos ahead of them, Wilson’s most logical landing spot still looks like one pick later.
NBA Draft No. 3 Pick Odds Outlook
The No. 3 market is really an extension of the No. 2 market. If Utah takes Peterson, Boozer should be the pick for Memphis. If Utah takes Boozer, Peterson should become the best player available and a very realistic Grizzlies target.
Wilson is the only other player worth discussing, but his path requires Memphis to break from the expected Boozer-Peterson order. Dybantsa should be gone at No. 1, so his +2800 number is more about a total draft shock than anything tied specifically to Memphis.
The cleanest read is Boozer at No. 3, with Peterson as the major alternate and Wilson as the true surprise. Memphis should end up with whichever top-tier prospect Utah leaves behind.
