This year's Women's College Basketball NCAA Tournament is filled with superstars.
Everyone knows about Caitlin Clark. She's the NCAA leader in points scored and has had millions of people tune into her games throughout the season.
While she's certainly the best player in the sport, many others will shine under the spotlight. Here's a look at the top ten women's college basketball players in the Women's NCAA Tournament.
Top 10 Players In The NCAA Tournament
10. Georgia Amoore - (Virginia Tech, G, Senior)
The senior guard, Georgia Amoore, has earned 19.2 points per game with 6.9 assists. Her shot volume has increased, which has helped her point total increase.
But she's also started 122 of the 124 games played for Virginia Tech in her career. She's everything to this Virginia Tech team.
9. Aneesah Morrow - (LSU, G, Junior)
Aneesh Morrow came over to LSU from DePaul after two amazing seasons.
At DePaul, she added 25.7 points in her sophomore season, so of course, once LSU reached out to her after winning an NCAA Tournament, she took the opportunity.
Morrow's points have dripped a little bit, but she's still averaged 16.5 points with ten rebounds. She's averaged a double-double every single season in college basketball.
8. Aaliyah Edwards - (UConn, F, Senior)
Aaliyah Edwards is in her fourth season with the UConn Huskies. This year, she's averaged 17.8 points per game, which is the most she's averaged in a single season.
Edwards has played nearly 30 minutes a game and has also added a career-high 9.3 rebounds per game.
What's more impressive is her 59.4% field goal percentage despite taking 12 shots per game.
7. Hannah Hidalgo - (Notre Dame, G, Freshman)
Hannah Hidalgo is one of the best young scorers in women's college basketball. In her freshman season at Notre Dame, she averaged 23.3 points per game, which is the third-best score among women's college basketball players.
But beyond that, she added 6.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 45.3% from the field. Soon, she'll be a walking triple-double.
6. Elizabeth Kitley - (Virginia Tech, C, Graduate)
The 6-6 center, Elizabeth Kitley, has averaged 22.8 points per game, with 11.4 rebounds. She's also shot 55.6% from the field, even after taking more than 17 shots per game this season.
Kitley has stuck it out all five seasons with Virginia Tech. In her previous three seasons, she's scored more than 18 points per game. But she really developed her game this season, scoring nearly five more points a night.
5. Paige Bueckers - (UConn, G, Junior)
Everyone was waiting for Paige Buecker to return this season.
It didn't disappoint.
After missing half of 2021-22 and all of 2022-23, Bueckers has added 21.3 points per game while shooting 53.8% from the field. She's dropped 42.4% from downtown and has played only about 31 minutes a game.
Bueckers will make another run at the NCAA Championship next season. But she's not thinking about that right now.
4. Angel Reese - (LSU, F, Junior)
The LSU Tigers are looking for back-to-back rings this year, with Angel Reese leading the way. They've got the talent, but the team can't get past South Carolina.
That said, Angel Reese has averaged 19 points per game with 13.1 rebounds. It's not nearly as good as last year's numbers, but we've seen enough of Reese to know what she's capable of, especially during Tournament time.
3. Cameron Brink - (Stanford, F, Senior)
The senior Stanford forward has averaged 17.8 points with 12 rebounds per game this season. She's shot 51.2% from the field and has Stanford in position to be a real threat to win the NCAA Tournament this year.
Brink just improved every single season.
2. JuJu Watkins - (USC, G, Freshman)
In her freshman season at USC, JuJu Watkins is second in the nation in points scored. She's averaged 27 points per game but has also earned 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
Watkins could have a higher field goal percentage. But other than that, she's been ultimately unstoppable in her freshman season. The sky is the limit for the USC freshman guard.
1. Caitlin Clark - (Iowa, G, Senior)
This is no surprise. Caitlin Clark is the best player college basketball has ever seen. She's literally scored the most points in D1 college basketball history, both for men and women.
Clark averaged nearly 32 points per game but also had 8.9 assists and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 46% from the field on nearly 23 shots per game.
College basketball has never seen something like this before.
