2025 March Madness Top 10 Players
1. Cooper Flagg (Duke)
Cooper Flagg missed the final two games of the ACC Tournament to nurse a sprained ankle. However, the Duke Blue Devils still won the ACC.
That said, Flagg averaged nearly 19 points per game and added 7.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting almost 49% from the field.
He's the consensus No. 1 pick in this year's upcoming draft and is easily the best player in the nation.
2. Johni Broome (Auburn)
Johni Broome has been in the league for five seasons. However, until this year, he had never earned more than 16.8 points in a season.
Broome recorded 18.9 points per game and added 10.6 rebounds with 3.1 assists. He also shot 51.3% from the field and led Auburn to the No. 1 seed in the entire NCAA Tournament.
Broome broke out four years ago.
3. Walter Clayton Jr. (Florida)
Walter Clayton Jr. spent his first two seasons with Rick Pitino at Iona. In his second season, Clayton Jr. scored 16.8 points per game.
Fast-forward to his second season with Florida, and Clayton Jr. is currently one of the best players in the nation. He averages 17.5 points per game and rallied Florida to a National Title.
When Clayton makes plays, don't act surprised. He's been doing this.
4. Hunter Dickinson (Kansas)
Hunter Dickinson is in his fifth season of college basketball. He has averaged at least 14 points in every season and has scored 17.6 points per game this year.
Dickinson and Kansas didn't have the season they had hoped for. But having Dickinson in the starting lineup can certainly help turn things around come tournament time.
5. JT Toppin (Texas Tech)
As a sophomore, JT Toppin has scored 18.1 points per game while shooting 54.8% from the field. He's not a heavy three-point shooter but is an absolute beast around the rim. In addition, Toppin has earned 9.2 rebounds per game in his first season with the Red Raiders.

6. Kam Jones (Marquette)
Kam Jones just keeps improving year after year. As a freshman, he added 7.4 points per game with Marquette. In his sophomore season, he scored 15.1 points. Then, last year, he added 17.2 points, and now he's scored 19.3 points per game this season.
Jones' improvements are very apparent. He's shot 48.4% from the field this season. While his three-point shooting hasn't been as good, he's still one of tourny's most dominant scorers.
7. John Tonje (Wisconsin)
As a sixth-year senior, John Tonje has scored 19.2 points per game this season for Wisconsin. He's only had one other season with 14+ points, with Colorado State in his fourth season there.
This is Tonje's first season at Wisconsin, and he has finally broken out. He shot nearly 39% from three and added another 5.3 rebounds per game.
Tonje is legit.
8. Nique Clifford (Colorado State)
Nique Clifford is the only mid-major player on this list. Some of you certainly haven't heard of him. But Clifford has scored 19 points per game on 50.7% from the field. As a guard, he's also tallied 9.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists, while being KenPom's MVP in 20 of Colorado State's games.
When you hear this name, don't act shocked!
9. Mark Sears (Alabama)
Mark Sears scored 18.7 points per game and shot 40.3% from the field. Honestly, he kind of took a step back this year compared to last year. But he's still a fifth-year senior with the ability to do a lot of great things.
10. Zakai Zeigler (Tennessee)
Where would Tennessee be without its point guard? Zeigler has recorded 7.3 assists per game, which is fifth in college basketball. He's also added 13.8 points and usually defends at a high level.
Zeigler's name will be said a lot, whether it's scoring or assisting.
