Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan Odds: Weili Given 82% Chance to Beat Xiaonan at UFC 300

Looking for Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan odds? We got you covered!

The legendary card that is UFC 300 is now just hours away, as the light heavyweight and women’s strawweight titles will be on the line in the main and co-main event. Adding even more excitement to this card, Dana White announced Thursday that the bonuses for this card will be $300,000, more than 5x the standard.

Two fighters looking to claim that bonus will be making history just by stepping into the octagon, as Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan will compete in the first ever all-Chinese title fight in UFC history. Let’s take a closer look at where the odds have settled as of Friday, both fighters recent from, and who I like to take this one.

Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan UFC 300 Prediction

Zhang Weili (24-3-0)

The second reign of the Weili dynasty is currently in motion, as she reclaimed the strawweight belt for the second time at the end of 2022 over Carla Esparza. Having defended it once already against Amanda Lemos in August, she’ll look to make her second defense against fellow Chinese savage Yan Xionan.

Yan Xiaonan (18-3-0)

Despite being in the UFC one year longer than Weili, Xionan’s path to a title shot was a bit more windy than her opponent in this one. Starting off her UFC stint with a six-fight win streak, a loss to Esparza in 2021 was followed up with a loss to Marina Rodriguez. Critical wins against Jessica Andrade and Mackenzie Dern, however, set up her shot in this one, and all eyes will be on Xionan as she looks to dethrone Weili.

Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan Pick

With a propensity to finish fights, Weili is 8-2 in the UFC, and a win here would further cement her place as one of the best woman fighters ever to put on the gloves. With a combined 63% finish rate between these two fighters, most of which were three-round fights, I like for this one to get finished well before the final bell rings.
