2023 NFL Draft Prospects: Ranking the Top 30 NFL Draft Prospects in September
We're starting to approach conference play in college football. We'll know much more about the top prospects for next year's NFL Draft when we get some of those games.
Expect this list to change as the season progresses, but for now, here's a look at the top 30 prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft.
2023 NFL Draft Prospects Rankings
1. Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama
Will Anderson has two sacks and one interception in three games this season. He's ultimately the best edge rusher in college football and will prove it, especially in SEC play.
2. Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson
Edge rushers are becoming critical areas in football. Murphy is another player who will significantly impact an NFL team next year. He's only earned one sack and deflected just one pass against Georgia Tech earlier this season. But he's someone who will start to get more reps and make himself feel.
3. C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State
Stroud could end up winning a Heisman this year for the Buckeyes. He's not a big rushing quarterback, but he's thrown 11 touchdowns in three games for the Buckeyes this season. Things will only get better from here on out. He's got the best receiving core in college football.
4. Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
Alabama almost lost to Texas. If it weren't for Bryce Young, that would've probably happened. Young hasn't put up ridiculous stats just yet, but he will start once Alabama plays in closer games in the SEC.
5. Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
Levis would be the third-best quarterback in the NFL. He's already led Kentucky to a 3-0 start. He's got people questioning if Kentucky is now a football school now that they're ranked 8th in the country!

7. Antonio Johnson, S, Texas A&M
8: Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU
9. Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson
10: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State
Njigba has been injured to start the season but now that he's fully healthy, look for Smith-Njigba to make a fool out of the Big Ten corners this season. It's the Ohio State way.
11. Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia
12. Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
13. Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
14. Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson
15. Peter Skoronski, OL, Northwestern
16. Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina
17: Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon
18. BJ Ojulari, EDGE, LSU
19. Anton Harrison, OL, Oklahoma
20. Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame
21. Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia
22. Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
Joey Porter Jr. has been excellent for Penn State to start the season. He's already showed up in some big games this season and will make a major impact for the Nittany Lions before heading to the NFL after this season.
23. Jordan Addison, WR USC
24. Jordan Battle, S, Alabama
25. Jaquelin Roy, DL, LSU
26. Josh Downs, WR, North Carolina
27: Jordan Battle, S, Alabama
28: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
29: Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
30. Henry To'oTo'o, LB, Alabama
