Top 5 Quarterbacks
- Marcus Mariota, Atlanta Falcons
- Tyler Heinicke, Washington Commanders
- Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
- Bailey Zappe, New England Patriots
- Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts
Mariota scored three touchdowns in an upset win against the 49ers last week. I want to see more consistency out of Mariota, and I'm unsure if he'll be able to play as well against the Bengals. But if you think he's capable of keeping up this level of play, he's a solid addition due to his duel-threat skillset.
If you like Washington's receivers and believe in Tyler Heinicke, he's a potential option. He's a capable quarterback with tons of experience. Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa is coming back in Week 7. Bailey Zappe figures to start on Monday for the Patriots and Matt Ryan finally led the Colts to a big win with 34 points from the offense on Sunday. (Plus, obviously, if Dak Prescott is available, you should pick him up...)
Top 5 Running Backs
- Kenyan Drake, Baltimore Ravens
- Latavious Murray, Denver Broncos
- Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
- Brian Robinson, Washington Commanders
- D'Onta Foreman, Carolina Panthers
I'm not as high on Kenyan Drake. He had 10 carries and exploded in those carries. But I don't think he'll be able to replicate it. However, I can't leave him out of the rankings after what he did last week. On the other hand, Latavius Murray is clearly the number-one running back for the Broncos. He's a must-add. Same with Brian Robinson at Washington. You can add Kyren Williams now that Cam Akers is out of the picture in Los Angeles. You can also look to add D'Onte Foreman if you think Christian McCaffrey will be traded.
Top 5 Wide Receivers
- Robbie Anderson, Arizona Cardinals
- Wan'Dale Robinson, New York Giants
- Tyquan Thronton, New England Patriots
- Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts
Robbie Anderson will finally get to play for a new team. The Cardinals traded for him on Monday. It's unclear if he'll play on Thursday but with Marquise Brown out for a little bit, Anderson figures to have a legitimate role in this offense. The Cardinals wouldn't have brought him in if he didn't. Wan'Dale Robinson is recovering from an injury. Look for his production to progress every week along with his snap count. There's also Chase Claypool who has earned a heavy amount of targets over the last three games between Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky. He's worth a look thanks to the volume and his play against the Buccaneers last week.
Top 5 Tight Ends
- Robert Tonyan, Green Bay Packers
- Greg Dulcich, Denver Broncos
- Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals
- Daniel Bellinger, New York Giants
Robert Tonyan recorded 10 catches in Week 6. With the way the Packers have played recently, Aaron Rodgers is more comfortable throwing to familiar targets. With Cameron Brate injured again, Cade Otton could be another solid look for your fantasy team. He had been improving his stats every week before Brate went down with an injury. Finally, Daniel Bellinger has been an interesting rookie for the Giants. He led the Giants in catches last week and played 94% of snaps for the offense last week. He's someone you can look at to play tight end this week.
