The New York Giants take on the Minnesota Vikings during the NFC Wild Card Round for what's expected to be one of the more interesting games of the weekend. Both teams have had questions about them all season and now, they must come ready to play and prove the doubters wrong.

While Minnesota had 13 wins, many believe that they aren't nearly as good as they typically are. New York also has the same questions, but it's a bit different. The Giants weren't expected to be a playoff team this season and their new staff found a way to get the job done.

With the Vikings coming in as a three-point favorite, bettors are nearly splitting the game. The public is backing the Giants with 52% of the handle. While that isn't telling us much because it's nearly 50/50, it's an interesting thing to think about.

Some bettors aren't touching the spread and are looking for player props in this game.

We see more bettors on the under in this one at 60%. I understand that, but personally, I would play the over. The Vikings can score in bunches and I have questions about their defensive lapses at times.

Top Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Giants

Saquon Barkley and the Giants are going to have to get going if they want a chance to win this game. If someone is going to score the first touchdown for New York, it's likely going to be Barkley.

For Minnesota, Justin Jefferson is arguably the best receiver in football and public bettors think he has a chance to score a touchdown. With +105 odds, it's definitely not a bad idea to back that bet.

TJ Hockerson has played well ever since being traded from Detroit. With a Giants secondary that isn't the best, backing him to have over 4.5 receptions could be profitable, despite -150 odds.

Irv Smith Jr. is a pick that I don't agree with. 15.5 yards is achievable on one catch. However, the public still likes him to go under in this one.

Richie James has cleared 4.5 receptions in his past two games by nearly double the amount both times. If he can continue producing, it would be a major plus for public bettors and the Giants.
