Bettors Hammering Patrick Mahomes to Win 2023 Super Bowl MVP

The 2023 Super Bowl is just two days away and there's no better time than now to place your Super Bowl MVP bets. Below, we will be taking a look at the latest Super Bowl MVP odds and breaking down who the public is betting on. As expected, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are leading the way.

There are a few different ways to look at the Super Bowl MVP. The award will go to a player on a team who won the game, so that's certainly something to keep in the back of our minds here. If you like Kansas City to win this game, it's not a bad idea to take Mahomes. If you like Philadelphia to win this game, backing Hurts also wouldn't be a bad idea. It's not a guarantee that either of the quarterbacks will win the award, but it seems likely that they will.

Let's dive into the latest Super Bowl MVP odds.

As we can see from the latest Super Bowl MVP odds, Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts is going to be coming in as the favorite with +120 odds. After that, Patrick Mahomes sits at +125. Given the odds for the other players, it feels safe to say that the books also expect a quarterback to win the award.

Bettors Favorite to Win 2023 Super Bowl MVP

There are some interesting names in the Super Bowl MVP odds, including defensive players like Haason Reddick. Reddick could make a major impact in this game and it wouldn't be shocking to possibly see them give it to a defensive player because of how elite Philadelphia's defense is. If we see a low-scoring game and they shut down Patrick Mahomes for four quarters, there likely won't be a player that deserves it more than somebody on Philadelphia's defense.

It's a possibility that we do see players like AJ Brown, Travis Kelce, and even Miles Sanders win the award. However, if it's going to be a receiver, they're going to need to have some sort of insane game. Perhaps if Kelce or Brown has a three-plus touchdown game, they will win the award. Even then, it isn't a guarantee given that the quarterbacks would be the ones helping them get those stats.
