This one hasn’t opened up yet on some books, but I couldn’t wait to get this out. NRSI’s are back in action and I could not be more excited. For anybody new, I like to bet on no runs in the 2nd inning of games, due to it normally having worse batters and each pitcher with an inning to settle in.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Oakland Athletics Prediction

Shane Bieber is on the mound for Cleveland. Bieber has made us lots of money in the past, and I’m riding him again here. Bullying Oakland is a habit of mine as well, so this makes all the sense. Bieber allowed just 19 hits in 21 second innings last season. Less than a hit allowed per inning is great, and Oakland is a team that doesn’t scare me too much with their team total of runs for this game at 2.5.

On the mound for Oakland is Alex Wood making his debut for the team. Cleveland bats are 6-32 against him lifetime and only have an OBP of .212. Alex Wood only allowed twelve 2nd inning hits last season in 12 starts. We should be able to avoid Jose Ramirez, who is by far the scariest bat there. This game has a total of 7.5 which always boded well for our NRSI’s in the past, so let's start the season with a win. Let's roll!!
