March 28 Best MLB Strikeout Props
Mitch Keller Over 4.5 K's (-140) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
Last year, Mitch Keller struck out 25.5% of the 825 batters he faced.
Keller struck out 26.7% of lefties and 24.1% of righties, which are both solid rates.
He'll face a Marlins lineup that has four lefties and five righties. In last year's season, Keller held righties to a 1.07 ISO and wOBA of .287. This is a good matchup for Keller to get through at least five innings of work, if not more.
Meanwhile, the projected Marlins lineup struck out 23.5% of the time. That number is lower due to Luis Arraez's 3.6% strikeout rate. However, Jake Burger, Jazz Chisholm, Tim Anderson, Jesus Sanchez, Avisail Garcia, and Christian Bethancourt all struck out at least 24% of the time against righties last season.
Keller has six targets and needs only five strikeouts.
Tarik Skubal Over 6.5 K's (-111) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The left-handed Tigers ace, Tarik Skubal, struck out 36.6% of right-handed batters last year.
He also held righties to a .103 ISO and wOBA of .252. Tonight, he'll take on a White Sox lineup that will likely have at least seven righties in the lineup. Those seven righties have combined to strike out 26.7% of the time.
Yoan Moncada, Luis Robert, and Martin Maldonado each struck out more than 33% of the time against lefties. Paul DeJong and Kevin Pillar also struck out at a high rate against righties. Plus, this White Sox lineup only walked 5.8% of the time against lefties combined.
Skubal should have a big night.
Shane Bieber Over 6.5 K's (+110) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
This is more of a play against the Oakland Athletics.
Shane Bieber didn't add a high strikeout rate last season, earning just 19.9% of strikeouts against 533 batters faced last year.
However, in Spring Training, Bieber delivered 17.1 innings and struck out 19 batters while holding a 1.56 ERA and a .81 WHIP. Maybe the old Bieber is back.
That would be nice, especially against this Athletics projected lineup. Oakland's lineup struck out 26.7% of the time against righties last year. Only Nick Allen struck out less than 22.8% of the time against righties. With eight targets for strikeouts and an awesome Spring, let's roll with Bieber to earn seven strikeouts at plus money.
