Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

The MLB season is in full swing! Well, kinda.

The Mets, Brewers, Braves, and Phillies are all playing their first game of the season. However, there are eight other games on the slate, with these teams having played yesterday.

That said, I've added three strikeout props for tonight's MLB action. Let's build up the MLB bankroll over the weekend!

March 29 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Aaron Civale Under 4.5 K's (-144) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Tampa Bay Rays will pitch Aaron Civale for tonight's matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Civale only threw against 504 batters last season, but against righties, he struggled to earn strikeouts.

The right-hander struck out only 20% of righties and induced below 40% of ground balls against righties too.

The Blue Jays only have two players who struck out more than 20.8% of the time against righties last season. As a projected lineup, using the previous year's stats, the Blue Jays struck out only 18.9% of the time against righties. We're taking Civale's Under.

Cal Quantrill Under 3.5 K's (-148) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Colorado Rockies signed Cal Quantrill in the offseason to be the No. 2 starter. It's already not looking promising.

Quantrill added only 12.9% of strikeouts last season in 443 plate appearances. He struck out only 7.7% of righties and added 18.6% of strikeouts against lefties.

Meanwhile, he'll face a Diamondbacks projected lineup that struck out only 21.2% of the time against righties last season. Only one batter on the Diamondbacks struck out more than 21.8% of the time against righties.

That was Eugenio Suarez, who still hit a .167 ISO and wOBA of .312 against righties last season. Take Quantrill's Under as well.

George Kirby Over 6.5 K's (+122) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Let's take a chance on George Kirby.

Kirby struck out only 23.1% of lefties last season. But he also limited walks to 2.4% and kept all batters to a .147 ISO and wOBA of .288.

While Kirby didn't have the highest strikeout rate against lefties, the limited amount of walks and overall good pitching kept him in the game longer. He faced more batters because of it.

He'll go up against a Red Sox projected lineup that struck out 25.5% of the time against righties last season. Jarren Duran, Trevor Story, Triston Casas, Tyler O'Neill, Ceddanne Rafaela, Enmanuel Valdez, and Connor Wong are all candidates for at least one strikeout.

That's seven of the nine batters.
