Oakland Athletics vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction: Expect Tanner Houck, Red Sox to Dominate

This is also known as a “Double Result” but essentially we just need Boston to lead after five innings and the win the game outright. Boston lost last game against Oakland and this third game is for the series, I expect the better team pulls it out at home.

Oakland Athletics vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction

Boston is up to a 50-41 record and have shockingly been way worse at home this year. I think this is strictly due to how the schedule played out and strength of opponents at home instead of them not being good players for the dimensions of the field. I expect some positive regression, especially against teams like Oakland.

Tanner Houck is on the mound for Boston and he has done well for us each time betting on him. He holds a 2.68 ERA and I expect that dominance to continue. We face off against Luis Medina who has played at Fenway once and allowed four runs in six innings. We are on the chalky side but I don’t see Boston dropping a series like this.
