We need to determine who will advance past round one.
Let's meet the participants for this year's Derby.
2024 MLB Home Run Derby Predictions
- Pete Alonso ( New York Mets)
The Polar Bear has won two Home Run Derby and will attempt to claim his third today.
Alonso ranks 14th in baseball with 19 home runs.
- Marcell Ozuna ( Atlanta Braves)
The Braves outfielder is having one of the best years of his career.
Ozuna has launched 26 home runs, ranking 4th in the MLB.
- Bobby Witt Jr. (Kansas City Royals)
Witt Jr has enjoyed a monster season. The young shortstop ranks third in baseball, batting .323.
Witt has hit 16 home runs this season.
- Gunnar Henderson (Baltimore Orioles)
There are few young players better in baseball than the Orioles shortstop.
Henderson has knocked 28 balls out of the park this year, ranking third in baseball.
- Adolis Garcia (Texas Rangers)
The 31-year-old is one of the best power threats in all of baseball.
Garcia has hit 17 home runs, ranking 24th in the MLB.
- Teoscar Hernandez (Los Angeles Dodgers)
The veteran has had an outstanding first season as a Dodger.
Hernandez has launched 19 home runs this season.
- Jose Ramirez (Cleveland Guardians)
The Guardians third baseman has delivered at a high clip this year.
