We have endured bad beat after bad beat the past two days, but this feels like bet to put us back on the track. When all else fails just fade the White Sox. For a multitude of reasons, I really like this bet tonight. Let's get into it!
Chicago White Sox vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
First off, Lorenzen has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 8 of his last 11 games. A near 73% hit rate since mid May is outstanding. Chicago scores just 3.13 runs per game which is by far the lowest in all of the MLB. 9 of the last 10 starting pitchers to face these White Sox have allowed two or fewer earned runs.
Lorenzen has one issue in his game lately and that has been walking batters. Chicago walks the second-fewest in the league and like to swing at bad pitches. Texas is due some positive regression in the second half, and I think they get a nice performance out of former Tigers pitcher. Not going to overthink this one, his rate is great and the opponent is easy to take advantage of. Let's roll!
