There are 32 starting pitchers on tonight's MLB slate. After looking through each matchup, I've decided on my favorite three strikeout props for August 7.

The Red Sox will send out Kutter Crawford for tonight's game against the Royals. Crawford has struck out 23.3% of batters this season. However, in the last month, he's only struck out 17% of batters.
Crawford has totaled 14.6% of strikeouts against righties and 19.6% of strikeouts against lefties. Both are below-average rates over the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, he'll face a Royals lineup that has struck out only 14.5% of the time against righties over the last 30 days. Only Freddy Fermin has struck out more than 20.3% of the time in the Kansas City lineup. However, Fermin still has a .344 wOBA against righties over the last 30 days.

I'll stay in the same game. Cole Ragans has struck out 29% of batters this season. While his strikeout rate has also dropped, he's still managed 25% of strikeouts against his last 99 batters.
Ragans has averaged over 100 pitches per game over the last month and has earned an above-average strikeout rate against lefties and righties over the last 30 days.
Tonight, he'll face a Red Sox projected lineup that has struck out 31.1% of the time against lefties over the last 30 days. Only Jarren Duran and Danny Jansen have struck out less than 25% of the time against lefties in that time.
That gives Ragans seven batters with a high strikeout rate in the lineup. We'll take our chances with Ragans to add at least eight strikeouts.

Here's another young lefty who has made a name for himself this season. Tarik Skubal has earned 30.4% of strikeouts against righties over the last month. He's also struck out 29.8% of righties this season.
He'll take on a Mariners lineup that has struck out 22.6% of the time. However, five batters in the Seattle lineup have strikeout rates of 25% or above. Skubal has shut down righties all season, keeping them to a .132 ISO and wOBA of .264.
Now, he'll have a lineup filled with only right-handed batters. Skubal should make a quality start and get many strikeouts tonight.
