This is a fun one. First off, our main leg is for Joey Estes to not allow 3+ earned runs. Estes is under in seven of his last eights starts, and gets a freezing cold White Sox team tonight. Chicago finally won their first game last night breaking a 21-game losing streak. I don’t expect two good things in a row.
August 7th MLB Prop Picks
Estes has a home ERA of 2.25 and has only allowed 10 runs in 40 innings when pitching there. This leg is massively juiced, but the splits, hit rate, and opponent are all great indicators that he should allow two runs or less in this one. We love the main leg and don’t want to lose on a reducer twice in a row, I think I cooked up a nice juice-reducer here.
Gavin Stone to allow 3+ hit feels very safe. Stone has hit this in 19 of 20 games on the season, which is good for a 95% hit rate. The one game he threw a two hitter was against a struggling Toronto team. Tonight, he has a date with a Phillies team that is much scarier. Stone faced Philly a little less than a month ago and allowed a whopping nine hits. If Philly can produce one third the amount of hits, then this leg will smack. Let's roll!
