We were one Cole Ragans strikeout away from earning a 3-0 sweep yesterday. Still, we'll take the 2-1 day and look to add that momentum with today's MLB slate.
Here are three strikeout props to consider for tonight.

DJ Herz has struck out 30% of batters over the last 30 days. He's also added 29.4% of strikeouts against 201 batters this season.
Today, he'll take on a Giants ball club that has struck out 27.2% of the time against lefties over the last month. Every player in the Giants' projected lineup has struck out at least 22.6% of the time, and five batters have strikeout rates of at least 28% over the last 30 days.
Herz has limited his wOBA against both sides and continues to limit line drives and induce ground balls. Expect a big game from Herz to go along with plenty of strikeouts.

Hunter Greene will take the hill for the Reds tonight. He's a right-handed pitcher who has earned 34.7% of strikeouts over the last month. He's also held teams to a .036 ISO and wOBA of .159 during that time and has limited walks to 7.4%.
These are ace-like numbers for Greene.
Meanwhile, he'll pitch against a Marlins projected lineup that has struck out over 27% of the time against righties over the last 30 days. Inside the lineup, there are seven batters with strikeout rates of at least 23.3%.
In addition, Greene will likely last a long time on the mound. After all, the Marlins have only hit a .119 ISO and wOBA of .298 against righties collectively over the last 30 days.
Greene could find his way to 10+ strikeouts tonight.

The Diamondbacks will roll with lefty Jordan Montgomery. He's only struck out 14.3% of batters this season. However, over the last 30 days, he's added just 11.5% of strikeouts.
Montgomery has already allowed a .211 ISO and wOBA of .388 to 293 righties this season. In the Philadelphia lineup, there will be six righties. Those six righties have struck out just 13.7% of the time against lefties over the last month.
The three lefties are Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and Brandon Marsh. Over the last thirty days, they have combined for a .280 ISO and a wOBA of .445 against lefties.
