This will be a popular one today but I don’t mind. I promised to pick on the Marlins as much as possible and I am a man of my word. Miami is down in this series 2-1 and I don’t foresee them tying it up as the series ends.
Cincinnati Reds vs. Miami Marlins Prediction
I am confident backing Hunter Greene here. He has allowed one earned run in the last 26 innings. He had a 0.33 ERA in July, that is the best pitched month I may have seen all season. He is steaming hot and facing a Marlins team that just did a fire sale. The Marlins actually haven’t been that awful as of late, but I suspect this is a high for them and for them to come to reality.
In order to win this bet we need some runs too. Kyle Tyler is on the mound for Miami and he’s been a mess as of late. He has allowed 12 earned runs in the last 16.2 innings pitched. I expect him to allow at least two runs in the first five innings, so if Greene continues to dominate the way he has been, then this should cash. Let's roll!
